Hi, my name is Emili Gomez from Valencia, Venezuela. Since I started my studies in Mentora my English has improved a lot, as much as writing, speaking, and listening. I think this is the meaning of success, that you totally improved all your skills. Mentora is so good and everyone who studies here is very lucky to be part of such a good language school. My favorite teacher is Brandon. He is very friendly and understanding.
Communicative approach
Our classes are student-centered. We don’t lecture, we interact with our students and allow them to speak their mind. We encourage them to think outside of the box. What we do is give them much more than language skills. We help them build the confidence that they need to communicate in all sorts of settings, whether it be a friendly chat over a cup of coffee or a formal presentation.
Simulating a real-world environment
We create lesson plans that simulate a real-world environment. We have our students practice all four skills -speaking, listening, reading, and writing – and doing this we use authentic material. For example, watching TED talks, listening to podcasts or playing out certain scenarios drawn from everyday life are all part of our teaching strategies. We also invite guest lecturers and conduct educational field trips.
Native English proficiency
Our teachers have native English proficiency and are highly experienced and friendly. Many of them were students of a foreign language like you are now, therefore understand the challenges of learning a new language.
Small classrooms for better learning experience
We give personal attention to our students. Our class size tops out at 18 students so that each and every student gets the attention they need to improve fast.
